PSSAT 2001 Absentee Ballot PSSAT Caps Now Available Late Dues News Soil Survey and Land Resource Workshop - February 8-9, 2001 |

The 2001 PSSAT annual Meeting is scheduled for February 7th, at the Holiday Inn. For those who attended last year, it's the same place. The Holiday Inn of College Station is located on Texas Avenue (Business Hwy 6), just south of the TAMU campus. Social Hour begins at 6:30 PM, with dinner to follow around 7PM. A buffet will be served, cost is $10 per person, and a cash bar will be available. Dan has made sure the dessert table will be well stocked. The business meeting includes reports from committees, awarding our annual Scholarship, and election of new officers. |

Jon Wiedenfeld has assembled the nominations for our upcoming Annual Meeting.
The offices of President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer and Editor are
all up for grabs this year. If you can't attend the meeting, don't forget
to send in your absentee ballot (it should have been mailed to you). Write-ins
are allowed. Remember, if you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting,
PSSAT encourages you to use the Absentee Ballot. Please mail ballots to

President Dan Kowalski announces the presence of the long-awaited PSSAT Caps. Dan has fourteen different styles and colors. Cost is a measly $10.00 per cap. All proceeds go to our Scholarship Fund. The caps look great, and there is a color and style for everyone's need. Dress caps, field caps, and even golf caps are available. |

The 2001 Soil Survey and Land Resource Workshop will be held in the Rudder Conference Center, Rooms 301 and 302. This year's program features highlights of the soil survey program, soil interpretations, carbon sequestration, climate, and GIS topics. Several PSSAT members will make presentations. This is a great chance to meet other professionals, meet old friends, and learn some new ideas relating to soils. Come and enjoy! |
